Joe is a senior program officer for the Home Region Program and is responsible for arts and culture initiatives. Before joining the foundation, Joe was assistant director for Texas Performing Arts at the University of Texas at Austin. During his tenure at the University, he also served as the director of the ArtesAméricas Program and a lecturer in The Department of Theatre and Dance.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Dickinson College and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business.
