Luis serves as director of communications for the Walton Family Foundation. In this role, he is responsible for leading the organization's communications strategy, including initiatives to advance the priorities of its Education, Environment and Home Region programs.

Luis previously served as the foundation’s deputy director of communications and as a senior communications officer supporting the Home Region Program. Prior to joining the foundation, he worked in government and in the advertising sector, representing clients from diverse industries.

Luis holds a Bachelor of Science with a double major in marketing and business administration from the University of the Ozarks. A native of Panama, he is fluent in both English and Spanish.
