Sara Guillaume
Sara Guillaume serves as Director, Grants Management & Operations for the Walton Family Foundation. In this role, she is responsible for working across the foundation’s programs and departments to ensure grantmaking processes and systems are efficient and useful.
Sara has more than 20 years of experience working in the philanthropic and nonprofit sector to build stronger communities and help people thrive. She believes strong operations are critical to achieving impact and that solutions must be implemented strategically with the right processes to succeed.
Prior to joining the foundation, Sara was the senior director of grantmaking operations at the Colorado Health Foundation. In that position, she led a team focused on compliance, customer service, process design and improvement, and grant data systems and reporting. She also serves as adjunct faculty for the Nonprofit Pathways Program at Red Rocks Community College in Colorado.
Sara holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University. She also earned an Advanced Project Management certification from Stanford University.
