The City of Bentonville received a grant through the Design Excellence Program to support the design of a destination park on nearly 100 acres at Southwest 8th and I streets. Port Urbanism has designed a park that responds to public input from the Play Bentonville 2025 master plan that highlighted the need for additional passive recreation spaces, public gathering areas, green spaces and trails to the west of Walton Boulevard, where 58% of residents currently live.
