In my time working at Rotary International, it has been clear that in order to solve some of the world’s most pressing global health challenges, it cannot be done alone. It has been an honor working alongside Caryl over the past eight years as members of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, and above all, as individuals with a shared passion for helping the most vulnerable. I congratulate Caryl on her new role at the Walton Family Foundation, where she will continue to lead with fervor and make an impact for those in need.
Caryl is a force of nature! As a passionate champion for children, Caryl has worked tirelessly over the last 13 years at UNICEF USA to advocate for the world’s most vulnerable children. While she will be missed at UNICEF, I have no doubt that she will continue to make an enormous difference in the world through her new role at the Walton Family Foundation. They are so lucky to have her on board!
